Problem Description
- Your WordPress website has been migrated
- Your images are not loading, but everything else is loading normally
- If you look in your browser console, it shows 404 errors loading your images and their URLs look like: https://i1.wp.com/<yourdomain.ca>/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/40-px-widget-spacer.png
Those i1.wp.com URLs come from using the JetPack plugin's Image Optimization functionality.
Problem Resolution
If you are only previewing your website and the DNS hasn't been changed to point the site to your hosting with us, the missing images will likely be resolved when the site is made live as JetPack will recognize the Websavers server as the correct location for the website. Therefore the solution is to simply wait it out.
If you're viewing the website after it has already been made live and still seeing this problem, you should disable the Image Optimization function in JetPack. Instead we recommend using either ShortPixel or Imagify.
