Problem Description
Google Search Console says: Mobile Usability issues detected
Problem Resolution
The first thing to note is that the Google Search Console rendering tool, which it uses to attempt to detect potential problems on your website, frequently incorrectly renders pages, resulting in errors like this one being sent to your inbox. We usually recommend waiting 1-2 weeks after receiving such a notice before diving in further. If you notice that the problem has not been resolved all on its own after 1-2 weeks, proceed with the following steps:
- Log in to Google Search Console
- In the upper left corner, make sure to select the property (website/domain) that the email indicated it found a problem on
- Under Enhancements, choose Mobile Usability. Errors will be shown here in the list below the graph
- Click on the issue in the list to see what page it's referring to
- Visit that page on your mobile device and see if you can detect the problem identified by Search Console
If you're unable to identify the problem, then this is simply a glitch in the Google Search Console rendering engine. If you can reproduce the problem, then you can either repair it, or ask your website developer or maintainer to repair it.
