Filezilla says EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename when trying to connect using FTP Print

This error means Filezilla cannot find an IP address for the domain name you provided. If you recently registered your domain name here are some things to check to be sure it's set up properly:

  1. Check your hosting plan for the correct name servers to use. You will find these by logging in to the Client Centre, then choosing "View Details" under the hosting plan with which you will be hosting the website
  2. Once you've got the name servers for your hosting plan, visit your Domains page and choose to manage the domain you recently registered. Go to the Name Servers tab and change them to the ones that correspond with your hosting plan that you found in step 1. You will need to repeat this for each domain you intend to host under that plan or use the Bulk Management Actions) below the list of domains. If you registered your domain name elsewhere, you will need to login to the registrar's control panel and be sure to supply the name servers for your hosting plan there.
  3. The name server changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours to complete globally, so please wait until 24 hours has passed to open a support request with us if this problem continues
While you're waiting for the name servers to update, you don't have to stand by idly! You can substitute your domain name with your hosting plan's IP address or server hostname in FileZilla so you can be sure to get the site content uploaded before the name server change makes it live. The hostname and IP address can be found on your hosting plan's details page as described in step 1 above.
