Problem Description
Visiting my website results in a blank page and my browser downloads a file rather than displaying my site. (Please note: if you're only getting a blank white page and not seeing the file download occurring, this article is the one you want).
Resolution
We're not yet sure of the cause of this issue, but it can be repaired by following these steps:
- Log in to Plesk
- Choose PHP Settings for the domain that isn't working properly
- Select a different version of PHP in the drop down and save changes. You may also change it back again to the original PHP version if you wish.
- Within 1-2 minutes the site should be back online
