Problem Description

When you visit your website URL, you might:

  • See a page informing you that your Websavers Hosting is ready to go
  • See a "Plesk Default" Page

Don't worry - the fix is easier than you may be fearing!

Problem Resolution

Occasionally the 1-Click Web Application tool will, after importing/installing an application, fail to remove the default index.html file. To fix this, log in to plesk, navigate to your domain's file manager, and rename index.html to index.old. Now, if you go back to your site, you should see the application you imported/installed is now loading.

If you have already done this but you're still seeing the Plesk Default page, try this out:

  1. Login to Plesk
  2. Choose the Hosting & DNS tab > Hosting
  3. Under "SSL/TLS support" check the box that enables SSL.
  4. Save your changes

After 1-2 minutes you should find the site working! If the SSL option is already enabled, try disabling it, click apply, then re-enable it and save changes.
