You receive a PHP warning about there being a SAFE MODE restriction in effect Print

Problem: You get an error stating that a "SAFE MODE restriction is in effect"

Solution: Disable safe mode for the domain.

1. Login to Plesk via our Client Centre and choose "Web Hosting Settings"
2. If you have more than one domain, select the domain you encountered this error with
3. Scroll close to the bottom of this page where it shows you that PHP is enabled. To the right you will have a check box for Safe Mode. Disable it by unchecking the box.
4. Choose Save or OK at the bottom to update the settings.
