To ensure your web application will automatically update:
- Log in to Plesk and choose the 1-click web apps or Installatron link
- Click the wrench icon beside whichever app you wish to check
- Look under the Automatic Updates heading. You will find the answer here, as well as the ability to enable both core application updates and updates for the themes and plugins (app dependant)
- If you've made changes to the configuration, scroll to the bottom and press the button to save your changes
In the list of applications, when an update is available for your application, an icon with a downward pointing arrow and a circle around it will appear next to your application. You can manually trigger the update by clicking this button. It will default to creating a backup prior to updating so that you can roll back if there's a problem with the update. We recommend leaving the backup option enabled.
