You receive a notification that an update is available for your web application Print

Our 1-click-web apps utility helps to ensure that your application and its plugins are all kept up to date. Without these updates, portions of your website could break or become vulnerable to very serious security risks, which is why these updates are quite important to know about and to actually complete.

If you wish to unsubscribe from these notifications (hopefully only if you have someone handling them for you), you can do so by taking the following steps:

  1. Log in to our Client Centre
  2. Log in to Plesk by choosing the "Access Plesk" or "Open Conrol panel" button for your hosting plan
  3. Click the 1-click web apps button
  4. Click on the application you wish to disable notifications for (you will need to repeat this for each application you have installed)
  5. Choose the wrench icon beside the name of the installed application to make changes to its settings
  6. Scroll down to the section entitled "Email Notification" and click the option that says "Let me choose which notifications are sent."
  7. You will then be provided the option to select which email notifications you wish to receive. At the bottom of the list you can click "none" to uncheck all of them.
It is recommended that you leave at least "Update Available" checked as the updates to the core application are often the most important to ensure are completed on a regular basis.
